There are many ways to give to Old Peachtree Montessori
School.
Donate a Stock Gift
Call the office at 770-963-3052 to get information regarding stock gifts. You can donate appreciated, publicly traded stock. You can deduct as a charitable contribution the fair market value of the stock as if it were cash. The best part is, for stock that has risen in value since you acquired it, you won’t have to pay capital gain taxes. Please consult your tax advisor to learn more.
Utilize a Gift Planning Instrument
Some gifts to the school may be made using a gift planning instrument. Please contact the office if you are interested in learning about gift planning options or if you have already included Old Peachtree in your estate plans.
In-Kind Gifts
A gift in kind is a non-cash tangible gift or a gift of service. Past in-kind gifts to OPMS have been items such as computers, furniture and various other items.
Our current wish list includes...
• digital cameras
• plants for the garden such as strawberries, snap peas, lemon balm, radishes, cucumbers
• a birdbath
Since OPMS does not have non-profit status at this time, donations and gifts are not tax deductible.
